As per our last notification our main studio has closed, but we would now like to inform you of great news. Our wonderful students at the Physical Therapy & Rehab office also located at the Dutchess Court Plaza have asked us to still have classes in THEIR office. Please see our schedule for classes. Cards purchased can only be used at the physical therapy office classes. Thank you

Being Happy

Do you think you’re happy right now? That could be happy with anything. Do you feel that life might be taking your happiness away? To be honest things have been coming up for me. Unexpected, unneeded, unwanted..."things". Those things were taking away my happy point. My true joy of my life as it is right now. It was beginning to take over. Until tonight.... Until something struck me. I began to smile. I felt my joy. I felt a release. A release I didn't ask for, but just came. I smiled I came back to my point. Everyone around me, saw it and felt it.

 
So, as always take this into your practice, your time, whatever that is for you. Let your happiness shine though. Let it be something unexpected. Let it burst from the inside out. Don't apologize for it because it's nothing to be sorry for. Be thankful for it....share it. Spread your true joy and see what happens.

Thanks

Giving thanks is a wonderful thing. That could be thanks to another or just thanks to the universe for what you have.... That doesn't have to be a "thing" we're thankful for, like a car, new clothes, etc. It can be thanks for having peace, a moment of clarity, a clear thought of forgiveness, even being present. Today, unexpectedly, I gave thanks to another. I knew possibly that person knew I was thankful to them, but what was nice we gave thanks to each other for being there in our daily lives.....even our changes. It was a brief beautiful moment. Something I believe neither of us planned, but it was truthful and filled with the peace, light, and love that we had for one another. Moments likes these...moments of thanks should never be taken away or done less of. Thanks should be something more common. 

My thought for you this week is a simple one. GIVE THANKS! How easy, How simple. In my practice, I thank the universe for my peace today....even if my day just started..... So try it. Wish thanks for whatever your reason maybe....Thank you for the breath in my body, thank you for my practice, thank you for this day....whatever works....whatever feels right. Just try thanks on for size....

Pranayama

To breath, what a beautiful thing. Allot of us let this just be a function of our body. To many it's nothing, but helping us to stay alive. Have you thought about your breath today? The breath is something so amazing. It helps to control everything, our energy, our peace, even our mood, but so many just let it pass by. Clearing the mind, finding peace has allot to do with our breath. 

So for this week, my thought to you is this. Take time to really enjoy your breath. Examine what your breath is doing for you or to you. Take it in and let it explore your body, mind, and spirit. It's amazing what you will find.
